There's nothing more synonymous with Burberry than their two-toned check print. While you're use to seeing it in its traditional black, red and beige format on cashmere scarfs or the lining of their trench coats, Gabrielle Union spiced things up a bit on Monday. The actress stepped out to Burberry's summer 2024 runway show at London Fashion Week wearing a full, black and white look from the brand's recent resort collection. And instead of being only a small detail, the Burberry print was certainly the focal point of Union's ensemble—but not in the way you'd expect.

Israel is between 1 and 2 years old, while Jaycee is 4 months old. "What happens when an aloof outdoor cat suddenly becomes a mushy indoor cat and then meets a feisty kitten, who almost didn't make it on the streets? Well in Israel and Jaycee's case…they become best buddies," said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

The housing crisis for humans means more displaced dogs and cats. MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Who says black cats mean bad luck? Regardless of the superstition, two black kittens got lucky when their tiny cries were heard coming from a Marysville storm drain. Police said a neighbor called 911 for help after they heard meowing near Marysville-Getchell High School on Saturday. Marysville Police Community Service Officer Mette went to check out the situation and then asked firefighters in the Marysville Fire District for help freeing the felines. Firefighters used rescue equipment to lure one of the kittens out of the pipe under the road.

NORRISTOWN — A Reading man faces seven years of court supervision on animal cruelty charges in connection with the deaths of three kittens who suffered 'blunt force trauma' while in his care at the Upper Pottsgrove Township apartment he shared with the owner of the kittens. Andres Eduardo Robles, 26, of the 200 block of South 10th Street in Reading, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to seven years of probation, the first 11½ months of which must be spent under house arrest and on electronic monitoring.
