Officials killed an 'aggressive' grizzly bear after two people were found dead in a bear attack at an iconic national park, Canadian officials say. Banff National Park's dispatch center received a GPS alert 'indicating a bear attack' at about 8 p.m. Sept. 29, Parks Canada said in a news release. A Wildlife Human Attack Response Team responded to the alert, which originated from the Red Deer River Valley, within the Banff National Park, the release said. Due to the weather, the team was forced to travel to the site by ground.

Wedding bells were ringing this weekend for Lunden Stallings and Olivia Bennett !! The TikTok stars just got married on Saturday (September 30) at the historic Naylor Hall in Roswell, Georgia. Hundreds flocked to Bruce Park Sunday morning for the YWCA Greenwich's Walk the Walk Against Domestic Violence. The event attracted all ages, groups of friends, family and co-workers alike, many with their pets. After several days of rain, everyone enjoyed the sunshine and a change to raise awareness and funds for YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services and education. I know several people who just got new pets. For instance, my girlfriend and her family just adopted a kitten. He's so rambunctious, it's like having a toddler around! Right after she got her kitten, I feel I heard of 5 other friends all adopting pets. I guess this is the time to do it. I have yet to have a pet of my own, though I've done significant work and care for former partners' pets. I hope to have a pet one day, but we will see when the circumstances work out best. One thing I know about having a pet is that you need to make sure they are up on their shots.

EVERETT — In October, you can adopt your new furry friend from the Everett Animal Shelter at a discount. The discount comes after a spike in stray animals were brought into the shelter. On Sept. 21, the shelter announced they were at cat-pacity — er, capacity — with cats. One pet parent, Elli Case, adopted her cat Junebug from the shelter last week. She started as a nervous cat who would hiss at people nearby, Case said. Since then, Case has enjoyed seeing Junebug 'come out of her shell,' and get more and more used to other people.

A family and their cat changed everything for a little 4-week-old kitten in a world he could not see. Waffles and Stevie Jamie Myers A 4-week-old kitten was brought into SpokAnimal with extremely infected eyes that were beyond saving. He was rushed to the Animal Emergency Clinic for an enucleation. The surgery was quite an undertaking for a kitten of his size. He came out with stitches but didn't let them bother him. Jamie Myers who volunteers for SpokAnimal, offered to foster the kitten, so he could heal in a comfortable, love-filled environment.

Models marched down a runway strewn with vegetation, wearing monochrome looks mostly in taupe or crimson, including fitted leather dresses that molded to the body. Coats were also tailored in leather, or cashmere. The show was briefly interrupted when, about halfway through, a protestor jumped from the audience onto the runway, holding up a sign that called for the label to stop using exotic skins such as crocodile or ostrich hides.

Here's something we already know about clothes: shoes make or break an outfit. Put on navy mum pumps with your midi dress and you'll look ten years older. Get the shoe just right and it all comes together and suddenly you look like you're in the know and women in the street will turn to check out what you're wearing. I'm getting carried away now, but footwear is the magic ingredient, of that there is no doubt. None of us can honestly say, ‘I've got nothing to wear!' But it's OK to say, ‘I haven't got the right shoes to make my clothes work', with no shame whatsoever.
