The thought of a New York girl visiting Paris during Fashion Week and pretending she's Emily Cooper is by no means original, and yet, who could resist? Every time I visit Paris feels like the first, though technically, this is the 10th. The petites cafés, the smell of croissants, and the sparkling Eiffel Tower at night. Though my Fashion Week schedule here is hectic, no Parisian morning is complete sans un croissant and un pain au chocolat. Only after that can one face the day and begin the process of getting dressed.

There was increasing pressures on councils to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill sites which meant the need for first-class recycling centres had never been greater. Garden waste, for example, was to be converted to compost and then sold to customers at the site.

Set to take place at the McGrigor Hall, in Fourth Avenue, there will be raffles, calenders, cards, tombolas, cakes, jewellery and so much more available to purchase and take part in. All funds go towards the charity in supporting the cats and kittens in the organisation's care.

Din Din shivered as he made his way to the garden. Steady snow had fallen in the last few days and the ground was covered with a layer of clear white snow. Recently, members of Catz R Us SA , a cat fostering organization in Pretoria, South Africa, were trapping homeless cats near a shopping mall when they noticed one of the 6-week-old kittens run away into a pipe underneath the mall. Concerned for the kitten, rescuers spent two days trying to get her out of the pipe. Eventually, they called members of De Beer Project Solutions for backup, who used a camera to confirm the little cat was still stuck about 39 feet below. After making significant changes in his life to improve his health and wellbeing a year ago, as well as paying back debts he owed, Edward Fell found he could no longer make his regular donations to Cats Protection. With his new found active lifestyle, Edward wanted to find a way to give back to his favourite cause in a new way.

ANIMAL rescuers have shared outrage after they claimed to have found 'more than 100' cats and kittens – many of them dead – dumped in the Abu Dhabi desert. The felines were discovered in the Al Falah area of the UAE capital, close to the emirate's Falcon Hospital. Video footage shared with Al Arabiya English shows scores of cats lying dead or buried in the sand. Those that were still alive were visibly weak and dehydrated, said the rescuers, who had been working through the night to find them temporary homes.
