For many pet parents, their cats and dogs have grown to become like family - to the point they couldn't imagine going a day without them. From birthdays, weddings and even family holidays, the special memories would be incomplete without them. And now animal news blog Wacko Jacko has compiled hilarious images from around the world of pets photobombing some pretty magical family moments. It seems many of the animals wanted in on the action, and were prepared to go through any lengths to get it.

Inky Lou, domestic short hair Inky Lou came to the adoption center as a nursing mother, but there were no kittens that came in with her! Then, by happenstance, kittens came into the adoption center without a mother, and Inky Lou stepped right in to nurse them! While the kittens no longer need Inky Lou, Inky Lou needs a special person to take care of her. She is shy so she would require someone who is patient and willing to let her be her in a safe, indoor-only space. Inky doesn't mind other cats and is quite sweet once she warms up to you.

Channel (Israel) and DR Denmark (Denmark, Greenland and Faroe Islands) have also bought the season.

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - A disturbing video of animal abuse has been circling social media pages in the Bismarck-Mandan community. A local animal rescue organization gave us a video that depicts people beheading a cat with a shovel. Julie Schirado of Furry Friends Rockin' Rescue says a parent informed her of the video after her child saw it online. She says after watching the video several times, she noticed there was also a burnt bird on the ground. 'We're horrified because it was the third time in less than a month that we have had reports of abuse like that.

LAHAINA, Hawaii (KHNL/Gray News) - Three kittens lost during the wildfires in Lahaina have been found safe several weeks later. According to the Maui Humane Society, the kittens were located Monday night in a burn zone area nearly a month and a half after wildfires destroyed the historic town. The animal care team said the cats were found unharmed under a collapsed cinderblock wall. Workers with the Maui Humane Society also located the kittens' mother. 'This is just one story of four little lives saved out of the hundreds that are currently in our care,' the nonprofit organization shared.

A majority vote was passed at Thursday's Far North District Council meeting to include cats in the Animal Nuisance Bylaw yet to be drafted and consulted on publicly. The decision will give the council the powers to seize cats as well as prosecute people breaching the bylaw.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A local animal shelter was closed Thursday night because of a highly contagious and often deadly cat virus. The Wood County Humane Society has been closed for more than a week because of feline panleukopenia. The shelter staff has been in deep cleaning mode for more than a week and their doors will be closed for at least another 10 days. Most of the cages and cat rooms at WCHS are empty right now because of the outbreak. It all started earlier this month after a sick kitten tested positive for FP.
